Steph had some work to do in Sherbrooke, Quebec (about 2 hours from where we live) so the kids and I decided to tag along since they had a school ped day.
It was overcast and a bit rainy but we decided to do a scenic walk that is mapped out for tourists. The plan is to find all the murals indicated on the map. It took us about 3 hours to do the entire thing but there may have been a quick stop for a “café et croissant”. The murals were really well done, right down to the writing / dates / headlines on the newspapers (seen in the fire station scene). Keep in mind that these are just paintings – everything you see, including the windows are painted.
Back at the hotel, the kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and a lovely hotel breakfast (Naomi loved having her morning oj in a fancy wine glass and Francis was impressed with the art work).
