5 days to go ...

Wow, I can hardly believe we are leaving for H*A*W*A*I*I in 5 days!
I've been busy packing. And shopping. It seems that for me there is a lot of shopping involved before heading off on a trip. I'm also in the process of making little goody bags for the plane trip (I saw this on Jon and Kate plus 8). I have crayons, activity books, interesting facts about Hawaii (printed from Internet) Playdoh, snacks and candy... etc.

Be my Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day!
Here are a few photos from this morning. I got the kids some Kinder Surprise chocolates and they each got a new neclace and some new sunglasses for our upcoming trip!! 18 days until we leave!!

CNY and more

On Sunday we attended a Chinese New Year lunch with members of our adoption group. We had a great time catching up with friends and enjoying the delicious food. I didn't take very many pictures and since Naomi was sitting in front of the window, most of the pictures are not clear but here are a few cute ones:

Yesterday Naomi was being a Velcro baby so I dug out the carrier so that I could carry her AND cook dinner. Later in the evening I put it on her so she could carry her baby and push the stroller. She really loved it!

This was taken this morning. This is her morning routine. As soon as Francis catches the bus she runs to her Elmo chair to enjoy warm milk and the Teletubbies!

Busy kids

Little mommy:
Naomi has suddenly taken an interrest in her dolls that she got for Christmas. She loves to feed them and give them bottles. She even makes little pretend sucking noises for the babies. It's just so adorable!!!

King of the mountain:
We have had a ridiculous amount of snow this year. Francis isn't complaining though. He spends a lot of time up on his mountain. Ahhhh... sweet childhood!

Hee hee. The truth is I have been shopping for a cute swimsuit for Naomi for our trip next month. I ordered this one from Ebay - it says 18m but it is huge on her. Even with a swim diaper, the bottoms fall right off! Stephan bought her a cute 2 piece when he was in SC last month but it's also way too big on the bottoms! I guess I'm going to have to start looking for a 1 piece! Poor kid has no bum! :O)
